Tenders are invited for Supply and Delivery of Raw Non-Iodized Salt. All bids shall be accompanied by a receipt for a non-refundable bidding fee of USD 133.00 submitted through a bank draft or a direct deposit of LKR 40,000.00 to the account number below of Lanka Salt Ltd. Account No: Hatton National Bank to Lanka Salt Limited A/C No. 068010003183 Bank Code-7083 Branch Code 068 C. The bidder should have completed at least one export order not less than 3,000 MT of salt within the last 3 years D. The Certificate of Origin issued by the Trade and Development Authority or a relevant authorized institute of the country of origin should certify that the items quoted are genuinely of the specified countrys origin. 5. Properly sealed bidding documents, along with required certificates in duplicate, may be sent through courier/registered post or hand delivered by an agent along with samples of 02 kg of the quoted variety. The top left hand corner of the envelope should be marked Importation of 10,000 MT Non-Iodized Salt and submitted on or before 15th May 2025 at 2.00 p.m. tre The Chairman, Larika Salt Ltd, Service Secretariat Office, Nawala, Sri Lanka. Late bids shall not be accepted. 6. Bids will be closed immediately after the mentioned time (15th May 2025, 2.00 p.m., Colombo) and opened in the presence of the Bidders authorized representatives who choose to attend. 7. All bids must be accompanied by an unconditional bid security that is irrevocable and unconditionally encashable equal to a value in USD 6,500.00 or LKR 2.0 million, valid up to 09th Oct 2025.
