Summary:Through This Request For Proposals (“Rfp”), The Regional District Of Central Okanagan (The “District”) Invites Proposals From Suitability Qualified And Experienced Companies, Interested In Performing Renovations And Associated Construction Works At The District’S Main Administration Office, Located 1450 Klo Road, Kelowna, Bc.Full Details Of The Work Required Are Provided In The Division 01 Specifications, Plus The Exhibit A Contract Drawings Of This Rfp. A Summary Of The Work Is As Follows:Location: The Place Of The Work Is The Regional District Of Central Okanagan Main Administration Office, Located At 1450 Klo Road, Kelowna, Bc, As Shown On The Drawings.Maximum Budget: The District Is Not Stating A Maximum Budget For The Work, As Part Of This Rfp Process.Contract Time: The Following Are Key Milestone Dates Required For The Work:• The Work May Commence Anytime After: June 15, 2025.• The Work Must Be Ready-For-Takeover No Later Than: January 31, 2026Form Of Contract: The Form Of Contract To Be Executed Between The District And The Contractor For The Work Will Be The Ccdc2 – 2020 Stipulated Price Contract, As Modified By Supplementary Conditions.Summary Of Work:The Objective Of The Work Is To Renovate And Upgrade Key Portions Of The District’S Main Administration Office, As Indicated By The Four Phases Shown In The Contract Drawings. The Work Will Include, But Is Not Limited To, The Following:Base Work (The Minimum Work Intended To Be Executed In The Contract):Hoarding And Finish Protection As Required To Complete Work.Supply Of Sea Can(S) At Rdco Site, And Removal Of Existing Furniture. Storage Of Furniture Indicated For Reuse Or To Be Turned Over To Client In Sea Can And Disposal Of All Other Furniture.Demolition And Removal Of Interior Finishes, Partitions, Doors, Glazing And Millwork.New Drywall Partitions.Supply And Install Of Doors & Hardware, Plus Relocate Existing Doors & Hardware, Sidelitesnew Or Relocated Electrical And Data Locations.Replacement Of Existing Recessed Light Fixtures With New Led Recessed Light Fixtures.Relocation Of 2’X4’ Lay-In Led Light Fixtures.Supply Of New Led Light Fixtures.Flooring And Ceiling Repairs As Required Due To Removal Of Partition Walls And Millwork.New Millwork, Paint, Flooring, And Wallcovering. New Baseboard.Modification To Hvac Distribution System As Required To Accommodate New Office Partitions.Clean Up And Disposal Of All Construction Related Debris.Reinstall Furniture In New Locations.Optional Work (That May Or May Not Be Added To The Work At District’S Sole Option)Optional Price 01: Add New Accessible Washroom.Optional Price 02: Remove Existing Urinals; Supply And Replace With New Waterless Urinals.Optional Price 03: Remove Handrails, Refinish And Reinstall.Further Details On This Rfp, How To Submit Questions, And How To Submit A Bid Are Contained In The Rfp Documents.
