Quotation are invited for Editing and Translation Services. As part of the Guidance and Training Center for the Child and Family (GTC) activities, we request a price quotation for editing and translating (from Arabic to English) services for a workbook written by the GTC staff in the Mental Health field, that reflects the knowledge and learning methods of the Applied Psychology program. The workbook consists of 145 pages; some pages are full texts, and others are inserted with images and other illustrations. You are kindly requested to submit your offer for supplying services in the attached request for quotation RFQ#24/2025 and in accordance with the specifications and conditions clarified therein. Scope of Work 1. Translation (Arabic to English) Translate the Arabic manuscript into fluent, natural English. Accurately convey the meaning, tone, and cultural context of the original text. Adapt expressions and terminology appropriately for an English-speaking audience. 2. English Editing Review and refine the translated English text. Correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, and sentence structure. Enhance clarity, coherence, and consistency in tone and style. Ensure the final version meets publication standards. The bidder must be: Be fluent in both Arabic and English (native-level in at least English). Hold a relevant academic qualification in Translation, English Language, Literature, or a related field (Bachelors minimum; Masters preferred). Have demonstrated experience in translating and editing books or long-form texts. Be able to provide samples of similar work and at least one professional reference.
