Bids Are Invited For Mineral Potential Modelling And Mapping

The Ministry Of Mining And Critical Minerals (Mmcm) Is Seeking A Qualified Contractor Under This Request For Proposal (Rfp) To Provide Professional Services To Support The British Columbia Geological Survey (Bcgs) Mineral Potential Geologist With Updating The Mineral Potential Maps Of The Province. The Work Will Implement Data Driven Methods To Assess The Mineral Prospectivity Of The Province. The Qualified Contractor Would Advise On Model Parameters, Resolve Analytical Issues, Review And Validate Outputs From Modelling Workflows. The Contractor Will Provide Technical Support For Geographic Information System (Gis) Software Issues, Predictive Map Development, Data Processing, Validation And Publication. The Results From This Project Will Be Mineral Potential Maps To Support The Province’S Ongoing Land-Use Decision Planning Efforts.This Contract Is Intended To Be In Place For A Period Of 3 Years From The Date Of Execution With 1 Option To Review At The Province’S Sole Discretion For A 1 Year Extension.
