Tenders are invited for Provision of School Physical Infrastructure (i) Construction of Blocks of 3 Classrooms with Toilet Facilities (28) (ii) Renovation of Blocks of Classrooms (29) (iii) Construction of 4-Compartment Toilets with Deep-Wells (38) (iv) Sinking of Boreholes with Tanks and Tank-Stands (16) (v) Procurement of Furniture Items (26) Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures as specified in the Oyo State Public Procurement Guidelines for Works and are open to all bidders as defined in the guidelines. Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified contractors for the above contracts as detailed in the bidding document. 3.0 QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS/ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA Interested Contractors wishing to carry out the projects as described above should submit, with each tender the required documents as stated in the previous publication made on Friday, 4th October, 2024. For further details, kindly contact the Director, Planning, Research and Statistics, Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board, Agodi, Ibadan. 4.0 TENDER MODALITIES Tender documents and additional information may be collected from office of the Director, Planning, Research and Statistics Department. Tenderers may tender for more than one LOT or LOTS separately. Tendering shall be by open tendering. Tenderers should note that failure to include any of the required documents renders the tender invalid for further consideration. Tender Fees should be paid into WEMA Bank OYSG. Account No. 0121754507, Code No. 4040145, Economic Code No. 12020725 5.0 COLLECTION OF BID DOCUMENTS A complete set of Bidding Document in English Language may be collected by interested bidders at the Board, upon the submission of a written application to: The Executive Chairman, Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board, Agodi, Ibadan The Bidding Document may be collected by hand or sent by Courier at bidders expense. 6.0 SUBMISSION OF BID DOCUMENTS One (1) original copy and three (3) other copies of bids are to be delivered in sealed 12 X 16 envelope clearly marked with the project desired and address to: The Executive Chairman, Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board Agodi, Ibadan and delivered at the same address on or before 12 noon on Tuesday, 13th May, 2025 7.0 BID OPENING. Bids shall be opened publicly at the expiration of Tender period on Tuesday, 13th May, 2025 at 12:00noon at the premises of Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board, Agodi, Ibadan. Bidders are advised to attend or send representatives to the bidding exercise. Important Notice: (a) Companies are advised to deal directly with OYOSUBEB Headquarters as no agent(s) or proxies have been appointed for this purpose. Any person or company who does contrary is at his/her own risk. (b) Notwithstanding, the State Universal Basic Education Board, upon submission of Tender Documents is not obliged to award a contract to any contractor.
