Tenders are invited for Bhomra Land Port, Bhomra, Satkhira is one of the land port with India. Mainly Stones, spice, fruits, fish, dry fish, rice, wheat, fly ash, china clay, marble chips and slab, tamarind, agarbatti, few perishable items etc. are being imported using this port from India. These imported goods are needed to be loading, unloading, re-staking, removal & transshipment of cargoes from vehicle to warehouse/open stack yard. For loading, unloading, re-staking, removal & transshipment of cargoes at BLPA has taken initiative for appointment of cargo handling contractor at Bhomra Land Port, Bhomra, Satkhira. Eligibility of Tenderer: i) General experience: The minimum number of years of general experience of the Tenderer in the work as a Prime Contractor/Management Contractor shall be 5 (five) years. Years counting backward from the date of publication of IFT in the newspaper. ii) Specific experience: The minimum specific experience as a Prime Contractor in providing non-Consultant Service of at least ONE (1) contract of similar nature, complexity and methods/technology completed over a period of five (5) years each with a value of at least of Tk 11,37,60,375.00 (Eleven crore thirty seven lac sixty thousand three hundred seventy five taka only) shall be required. Years counting backward from the date of publication of IFT in the newspaper. Contract for providing service will be treated as similar nature i.e. contract of cargo handling works at land/sea/river/BOT/dry ports/ any other organization in Government/Semi-government /Autonomous bodies.
