The Plant Is Intended For Cogeneration Of Heat And Power (Chp) And Provision Of Frequency Reserves. The Planned Power Plant Will Have An Approximate Total Capacity Of 100 Mw And Will Be Located At The Balti Power Plant, In The Vicinity Of Narva, Estonia. It Will Be Based On Reciprocating Internal Combustion Engine Technology, With Each Engine Having A Capacity In The Range Of 4 To 13 Mw. The Plant Will Operate Primarily On Natural Gas Or Biomethane, With The Capability To Use Up To 25%Vol Hydrogen As Fuel.
