The Municipality Of Ålesund Wants The Sea Stairs To Serve As A Meeting Place For Both Local Residents And Through Travelers. The Supplier Will Carry Out Both The Design And The Physical Preparation Of The Project. The Sea Stairs Should Be Designed As A Seating Facility With Different Levels Of Stay Down To The Water. The Design Shall Include Varied Seating And Residence Options To Meet Different Target Groups And Use. The Different Levels Shall Be Associated With Stairs, According To Applicable Requirements And Regulations. Most Levels In The Stairs Should Be Above Sea Level At High Tide. The Supplier Shall, If Necessary, Carry Out Investigations In Relation To Tidal Conditions (Floods And Feathers) On Site To Ensure Correct Heights. The Client Expects The Selected Supplier To Be Able To Start The Assignment Immediately After Contract Signing, Provided That All Necessary Approvals And Permits Are Available.
