Expression of Interest for National Consulting Firm for Conducting Policy Study on Analysis of Domestic Trend, Pattern and Needs of Food Consumption in the Context of Economic Growth, Urbanization and Global Change. The study will focus on four key agricultural commodities: 1. Meat (Pork, Chicken, Beef, Duck) 2. Fish 3. Fruits 4. Vegetables The objectives of the policy study are: (1) To assess the domestic trend, pattern and changes in food consumption under the context of economic growth, urbanization and global changes, (2) To evaluate and analyze national food consumption prize index, per capita and preferences for short and medium-term, (3) To assess the underlying causes of food consumption changes relation to demand and supply for a number of major agricultural commodities and (4) To provide concrete policy directions and measures at the time of food consumption changes during the economic downturn for the supply side that can contribute to a more sustainable food productions of the country.
