Expression of Interest for Provision of Services of Electromechanical and Photovoltaic Pump Installation Works Bid closing date: Monday, 05 May 2025, 16:00 hrs East African Time Zone (EAT) Bid opening date: No Specific Opening Date and Time Region: Addis Ababa 4. Registered companies will be expected to provide electromechanical services, including but not limited to: Design & Engineering: Designing integrated Photo Voltaic pumping systems for small to medium-scale irrigation schemes. Installation & Integration: Installing solar-powered pumps with a standardized electrical installation, including proper cable management. Ensuring seamless electrical and mechanical integration of solar pumping systems and configuration. Testing & Commissioning: Conducting rigorous testing and commissioning of installed systems to ensure optimal performance and detailed report of the testing and commissioning. Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Providing preventive maintenance plan and troubleshooting documentation to maximize system efficiency and lifespan. Documentation & Training: Preparing Operation & Maintenance manuals for the entire system. Conducting training sessions for end users (Farmers Cooperatives) on daily operations and routine maintenance for efficient system performance. Safety & Compliance: Ensuring strict compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards in all aspects of the work. 5. The WFP is conducting a market assessment and invites eligible suppliers to express their interest in providing one or more of the following specialized services: Solar Power Solutions Pump Irrigation Systems Photovoltaic Technology for Centrifugal Pumps Installation & Commissioning of Heavy-Duty Pumps Electrical Installations, System Integration and mechanical installation Environmental & Sustainability Assessments Site Supervision, Consultancy, and Design Services for Electromechanical Works & Energy Audits Operation & Maintenance of Heavy-Duty Centrifugal Pumps, PV Panels, and Accessories Training on System Maintenance for WFP Staff and End Users.
