Tenders are invited for Design & Build Guardhouse. The Delegation of the European Union to Mozambique (EUDEL) functions as an Embassy and frequently receives visits from state institutions, international bodies, partners, non-governmental organizations, and other entities. In order to conduct the necessary security checks for access to EUDEL, all visitors must pass through the EUDEL security checkpoint located on Julius Nyerere Avenue. From these facilities, EUDEL carries out screening and control tasks for visitor access and vehicles entering through the automated double gate managed by EUDEL professionals from within the checkpoint. The current dimensions of the security checkpoint facilities do not allow EUDEL to effectively conduct the necessary visitor screening and checks. Therefore, in order to align the checkpoints characteristics with international security obligations and parameters, EUDEL needs to initiate a public tender process to award third-party providers a Design & Build contract of a Guard House in Maputo, Mozambique. This will enable the adaptation of the current checkpoint according to the architectural program defined. In this context, the purpose of the Tender is to select a contractor to carry out the complete design, works supervision, and construction of a guardhouse on the premises of the European Union Delegation in Mozambique, ensuring strict adherence to the technical requirements and specifications outlined in the Technical Specifications and the Draft Contract.
