Request for proposals for Business Development and Entrepreneurship Training Services/ Mentorship BACKGROUND INFORMATION ABOUT NAHJ PROJECT Nahj s a 36-month project funded by DROSOS Foundation, designed to strengthen the Palestinian local market by enhancing digital literacy and entrepreneurship among children, youth, aspiring entrepreneurs, and small business owners in East Jerusalem and its surrounding areas (J1 and J2). The project focuses on entrepreneurial support by equipping 60 young entrepreneurs (ages 18-32) with training in digital marketing, financial planning, and business management to help them establish or relaunch self-sustaining SMEs. Additionally, 30 selected entrepreneurs will receive advanced coaching, consulting services, digital packages, and seed funding to further develop their businesses and enhance their digital capabilities for the part of the project corresponding to the services specified in this RFP. OVERALL OBJECTIVE The overall objective is to empower Jerusalemite youth, fresh graduates, and entrepreneurs in Jerusalems vulnerable areas and its surroundings by providing them with digital skills, entrepreneurship training, and career guidance, thereby fostering economic growth and resilience in their communities. BENEFECIARIES TARGET GROUP The target group for Beyond Boundaries consists of 60 aspiring entrepreneurs from East Jerusalem and its surrounding areas, aiming to establish or relaunch their small businesses. The project is committed to fostering inclusivity and equitable opportunities, ensuring that at least 50% of participants are female and 10% are persons with disabilities (PWDs). By prioritizing diverse participation, the project seeks to empower underrepresented groups, equipping them with the necessary skills and resources to thrive in the local market. B. TERMS OF REFERENCE Page 7 of 21 CONTRACT OVERALL PURPOSE/OBJECTIVE This project aims to generate and produce training material and interactive sessions to amplify the entrepreneurship skills of the Palestinian youth in Jerusalem and its surrounding areas and empower them to scale up their startups. Moreover, it seeks to strengthen their digital capacity as entrepreneurs. ROLES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND RESULTS TO BE ACHIEVED BY THE CONTRACOTR THE SERVICE PROVIDER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING: Prepare a detailed implementation plan in English highlighting the planning process, key delivery dates, collect feedback and finalization. Design and develop a comprehensive training program; including, but not limited to, creating training materials (including presentations, handouts, case studies, and exercises), facilitating group discussions, exercises, and practical assignments to reinforce learning, provide guidance and support to participants during the training sessions, evaluating participants progress and providing constructive feedback and adapting training content and methods to meet the specificneeds of the participants. Provide the selected applicants with training courses over the identified period. Develop pre & post assessment tests in English in addition to a technical evaluation form. Prepare an Inception Report before the start of the training sessions. This report should outline the training methodology, key objectives, expected outcomes, and a detailed implementation plan. It should also include an overview of the target group, training materials, and any necessary logistical arrangements to ensure smooth execution.
