Bc Wildfire Service Invites Responses From Forest Professionals Registered And Active With Forest Professionals Of British Columbia, Whose Scope Of Practice Includes Timber Cruising, Timber Valuation, And Desirably Log Scaling, To Provide Written Timber Assessments Of Private Land That Suffered Damage To Timber From Fire Control Actions.The Services Include Assessment And Valuation Of Timber Damages On Private Land As A Result Of Fire Control Activities By The Government. The Services Are Described In Greater Detail, Including In Section 5 And The Appendices.As Described In Section 8, On A Non-Exclusive “As, If And When Requested” Basis, Qualified Suppliers May Be Sent Competition Notices Providing The Opportunity To Compete To Provide Services To The Ministry.*Note That Qualified Respondents Must Be Certified In The Bc Forest Safety Council Safe Company Program Or Certified Under Another Scheme Recognized By Bc Forest Safety Council.Interested Suppliers Are Invited To Submit A Response To This Multi-Use List Request For Qualifications (Mulrfq) For The Opportunity To Be Evaluated And Determined Whether They Are Eligible To Be Added To The Ministry’S Multi-Use List Of Qualified Suppliers Of Timber Cruising And Valuation Services.
