Expression of Interest for Provision of Surface Haulage Services to Lucara Botswana Lucara Botswana is a diamond mining company operating Karowe Mine located 20km out of Letlhakane. and the Corporate and Sales office is based in Gaborone at the Diamond Technology Park in Block 8 Industrial. It is 100% owned by a Canadian company, Lucara Diamond Corp. listed on the TSX, Swedish Stock Exchange, and the BSE Karowe mine, the state-of-the-art mine fully commissioned in Q2 2012, Is a large-scale asset with tonnage and throughput upside it is one of the worlds foremost producers of large, high- quality, Type HA diamonds in excess of 10 8 carats. Lucara Botswana has embarked on an underground project to enable the mme to continue operating until 2040. Brief Scope The Karowe Diamond Mine, an open-pit operation since April 2012, will transition to underground mining as open-pit operations deplete by December 202S. During this transition, surface haulage is required to support material movement from stockpiles (Rehandle), the Transition Ore Project (TOP), and the Main Underground Project. The plant is expected to process approximateiy 2.8 million tonnes of ore annually from 2026 to 2028. Material movement will prioritize ore from the Transition Ore Project and the Mam Underground Project, with stockpiles supplementing any shortfall. Surface haulage distances from stockpiles and the underground ROM pad to the crusher reception bm range between SO meters and 4.0 kilometres. It is against this background that the mine seeks to establish a contract with an experienced contractor for the provision of surface haulage services, interested and reputable companies are therefore invited to submit their proposals with the following information which would be used to pre- qualify companies for further steps towards procurement of the same.
