The Tamil Nadu Tourism Development Corporation (TTDC) has established a Medical Value Travel (MVT) vertical to act as the nodal agency for promoting medical tourism. The consultancy will support the implementation of activities to increase international visitation, spending, and market share for Tamil Nadus healthcare providers. Key responsibilities include developing a joint marketing website, establishing firm participation requirements, and facilitating public-private dialogues. The consultancy will also involve extensive collaboration with TTDC, state and national governments, and stakeholder companies.
