Advance Contracting Notice For Provision Of Goods, Works And Consultancy Services For Urban Water Supply And Sanitation Sector Project. Honiara Water Main Replacement Subproject The Government Of Solomon Islands Has Received Financing From The Asian Development Bank, World Bank And The European Union. Part Of This Financing Will Be Used For Payments Towards The Implementation Of The Urban Water Supply And Sanitation Sector Project. The Focus Of The Phase 2 Honiara Water Main Replacement Subproject Is To Augment The Bulk Water Supply And Reduce Nonrevenue Water (Nrw) To Significantly Improve The Honiara Water Supply System. The Proposed Works Will Include The Replacement Of Eight Sections Of Existing Dn100 To Dn 225 Grey Pvc Pipeline Totaling About 10Km, And Which Are Prone To Leakage, With New Fusion-Welded Pe 100 Polyethylene Pipes, Ranging Between Dn250 And Dn500. It Is Proposed To Commence The Implementation Of The Subproject Through An Invitation For Bids Using A Single-Stage, Two-Envelope Tender Process. Bid Evaluation Will Include The Use Of Merit Point Criteria, With A 70/30 Technical/Price Weighing. The Bidding Documents For The Contract Will Follow AdbS Standard Bidding Document For Procurement Of Plant And Works (Design-Build) And The Conditions Of Contract Will Be The 2017 Fidic Conditions Of Contract For Plant And DesignBuild For Electrical And Mechanical Plant, And For Building And Engineering Works, Designed By The Contractor (Yellow Book). The Solomon Islands Water Authority Will Be The Employer. The Value Of The Proposed Design And Build Contract Is Estimated To Be About Usd 10 Million.
