Servers - Purchase And Maintenance Of Servers. Uz Leuven Is Looking For A New Server Platform (On Prem) For The Next 4 Years. Uz Leuven Today Has 150 Servers (Blades And Rack Servers). 70 Of These 150 Servers Are Used For Vmware And Are Replaced Every 4-5 Years Today. The Other Servers Are Retained For At Least 5 Years. Background Uz Leuven Has 2 Onsite Data Centers. These Are Two Active-Active Data Centers: This Means That Most Applications Are Active In 1 Data Center And Standby In The Other. This Changes Over Time And It Is Different For Each Application In Which Data Center This Application Is Active. Because Of Stability And Redundancy Aspects, These Data Centers Are Linked To Each Other As Little As Possible. We Want To Monitor And Manage Both Data Centers In Such A Uniform And Simple Way.
