Expression of Interest for Cambodia PMI - Assessment of Barriers to Participate in the Carbon Markets. In collaboration with Cambodias Ministry of Environment (MoE) and potentially other ministries and agencies, the World Bank is seeking a consultant to assess the barriers to the participation of Cambodia in the crediting markets, including domestic voluntary carbon markets and the Article 6 markets. The activities aim to help Cambodia achieve its carbon neutrality goals, foster economic growth, and ensure alignment with environment sustainability. Additionally, this effort will also support the underdeveloped Cambodia Climate Change Strategic Plan 2024-2033 and their updated NDC commitments. In partnership with Cambodias Ministry of Environment (MoE) and other relevant ministries and agencies, the World Bank is seeking a consultant to assess the barriers to the participation of Cambodia in the crediting markets, including domestic voluntary carbon markets and the Article 6 markets, supporting Cambodias goal of carbon neutrality. This assignment will also contribute to the development of Cambodias Climate Change Strategic Plan 20242033 and support the implementation of its updated NDC commitments.
