Tenders are invited for Mortgage Market Sector Development Program - Gender-Focused Quantitative Study Approval Date: 28-Nov-2019 Estimated Commencement Date: 45,000 USD Engagement Period: 6 MONTH Objective and Purpose of the Assignment The proposed assignment under technical assistance (TA) will support UzMRC in studying the loan payment behavior of clients, with a distinct section on the loan payment behavior of women clients, including an analysis of issues and concerns faced by women and men borrowers. ADB will engage a national consulting firm to conduct a gender-focused quantitative study on the loan payment behavior of clients in mortgage programs following the ADB Procurement Policy (2017) and its associated project administration instructions and/or staff instructions. For this assignment the selected firm will be provided with UzMRC assistance and PFIs coordination. Studying gender-focused aspects of loan payment behavior is essential for promoting financial inclusion, economic empowerment, and gender equality. By understanding the unique challenges and opportunities faced by men and women in accessing and repaying loans, financial institutions and policymakers can work towards creating a more inclusive and equitable financial system.
