Tenders are invited for Expanding Animal Health Services Delivery through Co-investment with Private Veterinary Pharmacy (PVPs) HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation is released to invite potential private sector partners engaged/interested to engage in Animal health service delivery, livestock transportation service delivery, milk transportation, collection and Preservation system and also encouraging market-oriented production and other related service deliveries through engaging last mile market actors in the program-targeted area to further catalyze system changes through co-investment in Borana and East Borana Zone, Moyale - Addis Ababa Corridor. Region: Oromia HELVETAS Ethiopia in collaboration with Welthungerhilfe (WHH) and local partners is implementing a project entitled Regional Livestock Programme (RLP) with the objective in transforming livestock trade for pastoral and agro-pastoral communities to have more climate resilient, inclusive, and sustainable livelihoods in 45 kebeles in the 5 districts of Dubluk, Dire and Miyo of Borena zone and Wachile and Dhas in East Borana Zone, Oromia National Regional State and Moyale- Addis Ababa trade corridor. RLP is implementing interventions through a Market Systems Development (MSD) approach to stimulate systematic and sustainable change at scale in program targeted area. This involves multiple partnerships with private sector and government actors. Thus, this RFA is released to invite potential private sector partners engaged/interested to engage in Animal health service delivery, livestock transportation service delivery, milk transportation, collection and Preservation system and also encouraging market-oriented production and other related service deliveries through engaging last mile market actors in the program-targeted area to further catalyze system changes through co-investment in Borana and East Borana Zone, Moyale - Addis Ababa Corridor. Interested potential applicants are encouraged to submit their concept notes as per the instruction considering a sustainable business model. Applicants should have the necessary capacity and preparedness to organize and manage activities with technical and/or financial co-investment/ support from the Regional Livestock programme to foster impactful outcomes.
