The Visitor Information Centre Faces Significant Accessibility Challenges As Access Around The Building, Facility Doors And Vestibule Do Not Comply With Current Barrier-Free Guidelines And Codes.Elbow Valley Visitor Centre - Scope Of Work• Expand Existing Vestibule Inwards With Two New Sets Of Swinging Doors.• Remove Existing Timber Column, New Timber Beam To Transfer Point Load From The Existing Timber Roof Truss.• Demolish Existing Vestibule Floor Slab.• New Footings To Be Constructed At The Same Depth As The Existing Foundations Reinforced Concrete Piers Required From The Top Of The Footing To The Floor Level, Doweled Into The Existing Foundation Wall.• Add Two New Columns At Either Side Of Vestibule.• Construct Vestibule Walls With Light Wood Stud Framing, With Lintels Above The Door Frames.• Tile New Vestibule Floor Slab.• Create Barrier-Free (Bf) Parking Stalls, Each Designated Space Should Have A Vertically Mounted Sign Near The Center Line Of The Stalls.Refer To Rfq Document For Detailed Information, Scope Of Work And Design Drawings.
