Survey Design Services - Study: Elaboration Of Biennial Reports On Policies And Measures In The Field Of Greenhouse Gases And Forecasts According To The Provisions Of Art. 18 Of Regulation (Eu) 2018/1999. In View Of The Paris Agreement And Eu Membership And Its Member States At The Unfcc And The Paris Agreement, They Must Comply With The Provisions Of Regulation (Eu) No. 1999/2018 Of The European Parliament And Of The Council On The Governance Of The Energy Union And Climate Actions, Amending Regulations (Ec) No. 663/2009 And (Ec) No. 715/2009 Of The European Parliament And Of The Council, Of Directives 94/22/Ec, 98/70/Ec, 2009/11/Ec, 2009/73/Ec, 2010/31/Eu, 2012/27/Eu And 2013/30/Eu Of The European Parliament And Of The Council, Of Directives 2009/119/Ei And (Eu) 2015/652 Of The Council (Eu) No.525/2013 Of The European Parliament (Hereinafter Referred To As Regulation (Eu) No. 1999/2018). According To Art. 18 Of Regulation (Eu) 2018/1999, Until March 15, 2021 And, Subsequently, Every Two Years, The Member States Presents To The Commission Information On: (A) Their Own Policies And Measures Or Groups Of National Measures; (B) Their Own Forecasts Regarding Anthropic Emissions By Sources And Absorption By Gas Absorbers With Greenhouse Effect Or Gases (Hydrofluorocarbes And Perfluorocarbons); The Process Of Adopting Policies And Measures To Reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions (Ges) Includes Periodic Estimation Of The Forecast Effects Associated With Measures, Respectively Emissions At Different Time Horizons. The Objectives Of Reducing The Ges Emissions That Are Foreshadowed During The Post-2021 Period, Require Special Attention To The Process Of Elaborating The Emissions Forecast In Order To Ensure A Permanent Evaluation And Adjustment Of The Previously Adopted Policies And Measures, In Order To Finally Achieve The Assumed Objective Regarding The Level Of Ges Emissions. Thus, Romania As A Member State Of The Eu Has The Obligation To Prepare The Report On Policies And Measures To Reduce Ges Emissions And, Respectively, On The Forecasts Of Ges Emissions, Reports That Had To Be Sent To The European Commission Until March 15, 2025.
