Bids Are Invited For Medela Breast Pumps, Supplies, And Accessories

Pursuant To The State Purchasing Act (Official Code Of Georgia Annotated §§50-5-50 Et Seq.), This Electronic Request For Quotes (Erfq) Is Being Issued To Establish A Contract With One Or More Qualified Suppliers Who Will Provide Medela Breast Pumps, Supplies, And Accessories To The Department Of Public Health (Hereinafter, The State Entity Or Department) As Further Described In This Erfq. The Department Of Public Health Is Providing Public Notice Of Its Intent To Award A Contract To Provide Hospital-Grade Breast Pumps And Accessories For Georgias Special Supplemental Nutrition Program For Women, Infants, And Children (Wic). Medela, Llc Has Been Identified As The Sole Brand For This Purchase For The Reasons Stated In The Attached Sole Brand Notice. Any Supplier Capable Of Providing The Identified Goods/Services May Challenge This Sole Brand Determination By Filing A Written Protest With The Deputy Commissioner Of The State Purchasing Division (Spd) In Accordance With The Protest Procedures Outlined In Section 6.5. Step 4 Supplier Participates In Protest Process Of The Georgia Procurement Manual. The Protest Must Be Received Prior To The Closing Date And Time Identified Herein. The State Entity Shall Possess (4) Four, One (1) Year Option(S) To Renew, Which Options Shall Be Exercisable At The Sole Discretion Of The State Entity.
