Tenders are invited for Landfill Remediation in Stung Sen and Lot 2: Landfill Remediation in Serei Saophoan The Works include: Lot 1: Mobilisation of plant and machinery. Drilling of three groundwater monitoring wells and undertaking water quality testing and groundwater depth measurements throughout the work. Compaction of the existing waste at the landfill (using a compactor/bulldozer). Excavating, loading and transporting waste from the dumpsite to the landfill (approximately 21.7 kilometres each way). Undertaking soil sampling at the base of excavations. Full spreading and compaction of dumpsite waste in the new landfill, as well as new waste during the contract timeframe (estimated to be 20-25 tonnes per day). Excavate on-site cover material at the new landfill. Apply and compact cover material to waste at the new landfill. Obtaining and transporting fill material to the dumpsite. Filling the excavated hole, landscaping and fencing of old dumpsite; installation of a gate. Remediated any damage to laterite access roads close to the dumpsite. Lot 2: Mobilisation of plant and machinery. Laying of a 600 mm clay base and bund for the identified remediation zone. Relocation of all waste across the dumpsite to the remediation zone. Compaction of the existing waste (using a compactor/bulldozer). Capping off the waste pile (four-layered capping system), planting grass and installing vertical landfill gas vents. Installation of fence, gate and groundwater monitoring wells 3.
