Tenders are invited for Brissa Dam and Reservoir - Full Lining and Additional Water Diversion Project A. Part 1 Compulsory Part a. Section 1: - Full membrane complex installation for the existing dam and reservoir, in addition to the external protection, if required, - an inflow control system allowing the training of the water courses discharging into the reservoir and the settling of solid deposits. b. Section 2: - Operation and Maintenance of the project for 2 years starting from the date of the provisional acceptance of the project. The Part 1 of the works is compulsory and the time period for the execution of the works is fixed at Thirty Six (36) months starting from the date of the notice to commence, in addition to 24 Months for the Operation and Maintenance. B. Part 2 Optional Part - Diversion of additional water system into the reservoir. The Part 2 of the works is optional and conditioned by the issuance of the order to commence by the CDR which will be at least 12 months before the ending of the Part 1 of works. The Employer has the right to ask the Contractor to execute a part or all of this Part 2 of works. Bidders may obtain further information, and inspect and acquire the Tender Documents at the Council for Development and Reconstruction, Legal Affairs Division, Tenders Department, Tallet El Serail, Beirut, Lebanon, during office hours (from 8:00 to 14:00 Beirut Local Time). 7. A prebid meeting and site visit will be scheduled during the bidding period. 8. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased at Council for Development and Reconstruction - Tallet El Serail - Beirut, Lebanon, for a non-refundable fee of One Thousand Fresh US Dollars (1,000 US$). This amount may be paid in cash money at CDRs Tenders Department, or by Bank transfer to the CDRs fresh US Dollars account. The information and documents related to this operation, as well as the bidding documents will be picked up from CDRs Tenders Department at the address below starting from Friday January 3rd, 2025. Bids shall be valid for a period of One Hundred and Eighty (180) days after Bid opening date. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. 11. Bids must be delivered to the address below before 12 oclock, noon, Beirut Local Time on Wednesday March 19th, 2025 and must be accompanied by a bid security of 350,000 $ (Three Hundred Fifty Thousand United States Dollars) valid up to 28 days after the expiration of the bid validity.
