Refuse And Waste Related Services-Collection, Management And Use Of The Approached Disposal Fear (Veg) For Batteries 2026-2030. All Types Of Battery Are Considered Special Waste In Switzerland And Must Be Treated In Particular. Consumers Are Legally Obliged To Return Used Batteries To A Sales Or Collection Point. In Addition, A Withdrawal Obligation Applies To All Sales Outlets. Batteries Can Be Returned Free Of Charge Where You Can Buy Them. This Is Independent Of Whether The Battery Was Bought At This Point Of Sale And Whether A New Battery Is Purchased. The Financing Of The Environmentally Friendly Disposal Of Old Batteries Is Caused By A Early Disposal Fee (Veg). The Veg Is Charged With Manufacturers Of Batteries In Accordance With Appendix 2.15 Section 6.1 Of The Ordinance Of May 18, 2005 To Reduce Risks When Dealing With Certain Particularly Dangerous Substances, Preparations And Objects (Chemrrv; Sr 814.81). The Basis For This Is Formed By Article 32Abis Of The Federal Law Of October 7, 1983 On Environmental Protection (Usg; Sr 814.01) And The Ordinance Of The Uvek On The Amount Of The Early Disposal Fee For Batteries Of November 28, 2011 (Sr 814.670.1; Battery Fee Ordinance). The Veg Is Included In The Purchase Price Of The Batteries For Customers. The Private Organization Can Free Certain Types Of Battery From The Veg. The Prerequisite Is That The Industry Organizes A Well-Functioning Collective And A Secure Financing System With A Very High Return And A Recycling According To The State Of The Art. The Mandate Carrier Carries Out The Necessary Legal Clarifications And Records The Procedure And The Requirements For Liberation From The Obligation To Pay Fee In Consultation With The Bafu In Leaflets. The Following Battery Types Are Currently Freed From Veg: Traction Batteries From Electric Vehicles From Lead Vehicle Batteries For Starter, Lamps Or Ignition The Federal Office For The Environment (Bafu) Commissiones A Private Organization With The Collection, Administration And Use Of Veg On Batteries (Article 32Abis Usg And Appendix 2.15 Cherrrv). The Mandate For The Private Organization Is Allocated To A Private Organization For A Maximum Of Five Years (Appendix 2.15 Section 6.7 Chemrrv). This Organization Must Not Exercise Economic Activities When Manufacturing, Importing, Selling Or Using Batteries (Appendix 2.15 Section 6.7 Chemrrv). The Future Mandate Bearer Will Charge, Manage And Use The Veg From 2026 To 2030. The Bafu Provides You With The Necessary It Solution. It Leads Targeted Information And Sensitization Activities For Various Interest Groups With The Aim Of Achieving The Highest Possible Return Rate For The Batteries And Adding Them To An Environmentally Friendly Disposal. The Mandate Bearer Works Under The Brand Name Inobat. The Name “Inobat” Is The Property Of The Federal Government.
