Expression of Interest for Consultancy Services for Technical Audit for the Banjul 4th Port Expansion Project. The scope of work includes three audit stages: Initial Audit, Intermediate Audit, and Final Audit. The consultant will review project documentation (appraisal reports, technical designs, financial statements, procurement records, etc.) to assess compliance with international standards, conduct field visits and inspect works to verify material quality, construction techniques, contractor performance, and adherence to environmental safeguards, evaluate procurement processes for goods and services, ensuring compliance with AfDB guidelines, audit newly implemented systems (e.g., ICT tools, early warning systems) and evaluate the efficiency of project supervision, and submit comprehensive audit reports and a Management Letter highlighting findings, observations, and recommendations. Eligibility criteria, establishment of the short-list, and the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the African Development Banks Procurement Policy for Bank Funded Operations, which can be accessed at the AfDB website (www.afdb.org). The method of selection will be Quality and Cost-Based Selection (QCBS). Interested consulting firms may obtain further information at the address below during office hours (08:00 AM 4:00 PM GMT).
