    Bicycles – Contract For The Supply Of A Range Of Ebikes And Associated Services. The Concept Behind A Bike Library Is To Provide People With The Opportunity To Trial For Free A Range Of Ebikes, Ecargo, E-Long Tail And E-Folding Bikes. The Main Objective Is To Allow People To Experience First-Hand The Benefits Of Emobility Without The Upfront Costs Of Purchasing Their Own Ebike Immediately. This Is Achieved By Allowing People To Borrow The Bikes For Around 3 Months And Use It For Their Commuting And Daily Activities Instead Of Their Car To Encourage A Modal Shift. The Project Will Focus On Private Workplaces In Dublin And Limerick And Will Provide Access To The Bike Library To A Selected Cohort Of Employees While Also Engaging A Control Group Within The Same Workplaces To Achieve An Objective Assessment Of The Intervention. The Bikes Will Be Available To Each Company For The Period Of 1 Year, Then A Second Cohort Of Companies Will Avail Of The Bikes In Year 2. The Participants In Each Company Will Have Access To The Bikes For 3 Months, Then The Bikes Will Be Given To Other Participants Within The Same Company. The First Pilot Must Be Delivered By September 2025.
