Work Detail

The Irish Embassy In Beijing Is Likely To Need Increased And Upgraded Office Capacity Alongside Upgraded Residential Capacity In The Coming Years And Wishes To Look At The Options Available Within The Existing Embassy Site. The Successfully Engaged Project Manager Lead Will Be Required To Coordinate And Project Manage The Design Team To Complete Design Options And Reports For The Feasibility Study. They Will Be Required To Administer And Coordinate All Design Team Contracts On Behalf Of The Contracting Authority And To Ensure That The Designs Works Are Completed In Full Compliance With With All Statutory And Regulatory Obligations As They Apply In The People’S Republic Of China. As Well As Complying With Chinese Building Codes And Any Beijing Specific Regulations, The Works (As Far As Is Practicable) Shall Be Designed, Specified And Detailed To Be Reasonably Consistent With Irish Building Regulations And Standards, In Particular Relating To: • Fire Safety • Structural Design • Universal Access • Mechanical And Electrical Installations
