Tenders are invited for Wildlife Conservation Society Cambodia Construction Work for Building Fence and Renovation of Ranger Station in Mondulkiri The Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) is seeking bids from qualified vendors to provide Construction work for the WCS site in Mondulkiri province which estimate of start work from beginning of March 24, 2025, through June 2025, according to bill of quantity described in Appendix A, attached and made a part of this Invitation to Bid (ITB). BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES OF PROJECT WCS is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to saving wildlife and wild lands through science, international conservation, education, and the management of the worlds largest system of urban wildlife parks. Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) since its establishment in 1895, has operated the worlds most extensive field conservation program, focusing on natures strongholds and protecting half of the globes biodiversity. In Cambodia, WCS has been active since 1999, dedicated to conserving the nations unique wildlife and landscapes. Our efforts span vital regions such as the Eastern Plains, Northern Plains, and Tonle Sap, targeting species like the Asian Elephant, Bengal Florican, and Siamese Crocodile. The Cambodia program takes a comprehensive approach to conservation, combining scientific research, community-based initiatives, and partnerships with local governments and organizations. From protecting carbon-rich tropical forests to mitigating the impact of zoonotic diseases and illegal wildlife trade, the WCS Cambodia program promotes conservation efforts across various issues and ecosystems. Keo Seima Wildlife Sanctuary covers an area of 292,690 hectares hectares located in the eastern part of Cambodia, mostly in Mondulkiri province and a small part in Kratie Province. Keo Seima Wildlife Sanctuary was established in 2016 by Sub-Decree No. 88 dated May 09, 2016. Currently, the Keo Seima Wildlife Sanctuary has been modified from an area of 292,690 hectares to 317,456 hectares with the sub-decree. No. 182, dated July 17, 2023. The Royal Government of Cambodia, represented by the Ministry of Environment, in collaboration with the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS), has been implementing carbon credits in the REDD + project, receiving funding to support the management and conservation of the Keo Seima Wildlife Sanctuary and to support Improve the livelihoods of local communities living in and around the project area. THE OBJECTIVE OF THIS ITB WCS Cambodia is aiming to invite interested companies to submit their technical and financial proposal for the following construction work in Mondulkiri province. Bidder companies are open to consider providing their bidding documents with any of the below works, or with all of them if they are able. The evaluation will be based on submitted proposals. List of the construction works in Monduliri province: 1. Construction of ranger sub-station Fence, Toul Pongro ranger sub-station, Pu Kong Village, Srea Preah Commune, Keo Seima District, Mondulkiri Province 2. Construction of ranger sub-station Fence, Roka Thmey ranger sub-station, Sen Monorum Commune, Oraing District, Mondulkiri Province. 3. Renovation of Sre Phleng ranger sub-station, Pu Char village, Srea Preah Commune, Keo Seima, Mondulkiri Province Appendix B: Construction Contract format. The successor must be done in compliance with the terms and conditions set forth in Appendix B.
