TENDER GUIDELINE ENDER FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF TWO (2) SOLARIZED DRIP IRRIGATION SCHEMES AND 2 ANIMAL WATER TROUGHS IN KAPOETA EAST COUNTY IRSS-KP-08/02-25. 1. The Construction work of the irrigation schemes will be implemented in Kapoeta East County two(2)drip irrigation schemes. The irrigation schemes construction encompasses the following; 2. Pumping testing will be for a period of not less than 8 hours in which the first 4 hours is for step draw down while the 4 hours for continuous test. The discharge at this point will correlate to the discharge during flushing. 3. Drilling of 2 new boreholes well installed with dual pump system (mannual submersible pump and solar powered submersible pump). 4. Construction of tank base and steel tank (6 frames) tower for carrying the resevoir tank. 5. Supply and mounting 36,000 liters stainless steel tank with Floater valve and water level sensor, well painted including installation of plumbing accessories. 6. Installation of solar system including the control system 7. Installation of submersible pump 8. Installation solar systems including all electrical accessories. 9. Supply of dripping pipes and installation. 10. Training of 4 irrigation scheme operators for sustainability purposes. 11. Installation of clear visibility materials (1 fixed down near the tank tower, 1 fabricated on top of the tank tower and 1 fixed in the farm). 12. Installation of solar lights to provide lighting in the evening hours as well as security at theTanktower.13. Supply and install lightening arester to protect the system from being struct by lightening.
