Quotation are invited for Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the existing 500kVA transformer and power supply infrastructure for the upgrade to a 33kv supply and 500kVA transformer Grid Power Installation vendors (with expertise in Transformer) Scope of work: Site Assessment: Conduct a thorough inspection of the existing electrical infrastructure, including the transformer, switchgear, and distribution lines. Technical Analysis: Analyze the current power supply and identify the necessary upgrades to meet the 33kV/500kVA requirement. Component Selection: Enumerate and advice on the best-quality components within the current transformer, insulators, earthing, gang switch, cables, etc., that are adequate for the upgrade to 33kVA supply and must comply with national regulations, specifications, and industry standards. Cost Estimation: Prepare a comprehensive BOQ with accurate pricing and quantities of all materials, equipment, and labour. Permit and Approval: The vendor will secure all permits and approvals required for the upgrade project, including timelines and documentation necessary for the final commissioning of the transformer. Standard project management best practices are required to complete the project. Complete and enclose a work plan. The vendor must demonstrate and certify that the installation is safe and reliable for the job complete. Qualification and Experience A registered Electrical Power Engineering Company whose project lead/manager must have a minimum of: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Professional engineering license. Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical power systems design, installation, and maintenance. Expertise in transformer upgrades, substation design, and power distribution systems. Knowledge of relevant electrical codes and standards. Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality results on time. Proven familiarity and experience working with the non-profit/development sector are desired.
