Work Detail

The City Recognizes Transient Pressure Events As A Potential Risk To The Water Distribution System And Desires To Follow A Phased Approach To Monitor And Mitigate These Events In High-Risk Areas. It Desires To Procure Mobile High-Frequency Transient Pressure Monitor (Tpm) Data For Future Individual Analyses By Third Parties Or The Successful Vendor In This Rfeoi. City Staff Will Then Perform An Initial Deployment At Select Locations, With The Potential To Expand To More Locations And Perhaps More Permanent Device Installations Over The Next Five To Seven Years. The City’S Utility And Engineering Departments Will Use The Collected Data To Inform Operational Adjustments And Infrastructure Planning Before Committing To Major Capital Projects. This Initial Procurement Must Include Portable Units, Easily Deployed By Municipal Utility Operators Without Excavation. Utilities And Engineering Staff Will Comprise The Evaluation Team. Their Review Of The Expressions Of Interest (Eois) May Lead To A Purchase Order With The Successful Vendor.
