Tenders are invited for Landfill Remediation in Kratie. Lot 1: Mobilization of plant and machinery. Decommissioning (plugging) of two existing groundwater monitoring wells (and potentially one further well at a later date). Filling and compaction of holes and depression in the remediation zone. Laying of a 600 mm clay base and bund for the remediation zone. Relocation of approximately 347,928 cubic metres of uncompacted waste from across the site to the remediation zone. Monitoring soil and groundwater contamination levels across the site. Compaction of the 347,928 cubic metres of waste (using a compactor/bulldozer) to a reduced volume of 139,171 cubic metres of waste and constructing a mound of approximately 8 metres in height with 1:3 slopes. Capping off the waste pile (four-layered capping system), planting grass and constructing landfill gas vents. Drilling of four new permanent groundwater monitoring wells around the remediation mound. The average annual volume of construction work of the successful Bidder over the last three years (2021, 2022 & 2023) shall be at least Lot 1: US$ 2.17 million The Bidder has substantially or successfully completed at least one similar contract as a prime contractor or as JV member or subcontractor where the share value of the works performed was at least the amount of Lot 1: US$ 0.87 million For Cambodian Bidders: valid registration from the Ministry of Commerce (MOC), and Land Management Urban Planning and Construction (LMUPC) or Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MPWT), and a valid registration/permit /patent issued by the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF). Bidders with duly audited financial statements by an independent audit firm, for the last three (3) years (2021, 2022 & 2023) demonstrating soundness of its financial position. As a minimum, the Bidders net worth for the last three (3) years calculated as the difference between total assets and total liabilities should be positive.
