Bids Are Invited For 2024015 Cell 9 Construction

Work Includes: .1 Mobilization And Demobilization Of Equipment To Site, Including Construction Of Haul Roads From The Cell 9 Area To The Stockpile Areas, And Any Other Haul Roads Required During Construction, Prime Contractor Duties, Site Safety, All Temporary Works And Facilities Necessary To Complete The Project, And Demobilization Including All Restoration Of Temporary Facilities And Disturbed Areas. .2 Stripping Topsoil, Subsoil, And Unsuitable Surface Material From Within The Cell 9 Footprint, Interior Access Road, Surface Water Ditches, Stockpile Area (If Required), And Any Other Area To Be Disturbed During Construction, And Hauling Of Material To The Appropriate Stockpile Area As Shown On The Drawings Or Directed By The Engineer. .3 Excavation Of Cell 9, Including The Construction Of Cell 9 Interior Access Road, Cell 9 Embankments, Berms, And Stockpiling Of Excess Material. .4 Preparation Of The Subgrade Layer In Preparation Of Placement Of The Liner System (Including Slopes). .5 Excavation And Backfill Of The Geosynthetics Anchor Trench As Shown On The Construction Drawings. .6 Supply And Installation Of The Gcl. .7 Supply And Installation Of The Geomembrane Liner. .8 Supply And Installation Of The Drainage Layer. .9 Supply And Installation Of The Cell 9 Leachate Collection System (Including, But Not Limited To, Excavation Of The Trench And Sump, Supply And Install Of Drainage Aggregate, Geotextile, And Piping Infrastructure/Accessories). .10 Construction Of The Interior Access Road And Associated Surface Water Ditching. .11 Topsoiling And Seeding Of Permanent Ditches, Embankment Slopes, All Disturbed Areas, And Seeding Of Stockpiles (As Indicated On Drawings) To Aid In Erosion Control On-Site. .12 Surveying, As Required For The Completion Of All Portions Of The Work, Which Must Include A Detailed As-Built Geodetic Survey Of The Entire Work Area And All The Work Performed Including The Base Of Clay Liner And Top Of Clay Liner. To Be Provided To And Approved By Engineer As Construction Progresses.
