Invitation To Tender, Tmc Heat Recovery And Rtu Replacement . The Trail Memorial Centre Is Located At 1051 Victoria Street In Trail, Bc. The Facility Encompasses Two Hockey Arenas, A Curling Club, A Large Gymnasium, Racquetball And Squash Courts, Several Meeting Rooms, And A Large-Scale Commercial Kitchen Facility. The Tmc Is Marking Its 75Th Year Of Operation In 2024 And Provides Several Services To Our User Groups. The City Of Trail Is Seeking Tender Responses From Qualified And Experienced General Contractors Speaking On Their Capabilities, Experience, Record Of Accomplishments, And Resources To Enhance The Building’S Heating, Ventilation, And Cooling Systems. Key Improvements Include The Replacement Of 12 Existing Rooftop Units, The Installation Of A New Heat Recovery System, And Upgrades To The Boiler And Ammonia Plants. A New Heat Pump Will Utilize Waste Heat From The Ammonia Plant To Support Heating Needs, Including Domestic Hot Water, Hydronic Loops, And The New Rooftop Heating System. Additionally, A Heat Recovery Ventilator Will Be Added To Serve The Third Floor. These Updates Aim To Improve Energy Efficiency, Support Long-Term Facility Goals, And Ensure Optimal Performance Of The Centres Heating Systems.
