Feb 2025 Intervention Sector(s): Women Status & Issues Remuneration range: < 1000 (USD) Duration of Contract: 6 months Background Information: The Community Organization for Development and Empowerment-TCODE-INITIATE is a Nongovernmental, nonprofit, youth-oriented organization based in Lebanon and dedicated to assisting vulnerable communities through youth inclusion and empowerment. While keeping youth at its focus of its mission, TCODE-INITIATE continually endeavors in creating comprehensive and inclusive programs aimed towards the empowerment of youth, and its concentric circles of influence. In the process of delivering its Mission TCODE-INITIATE aspires to keeping its status as a hub for youth allowing them to: access a safe space, and acquire knowledge and access to a network of social and political influencers enhancing their social participation in decision making processes. Purpose of the Contract: The Project Field Assistant will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the community kitchen, ensuring that meals are prepared safely, efficiently, and to high standards. Tasks: Manage the kitchen staff, including scheduling, training, and supervision. Supervise and monitor the process in the community kitchen to ensure meals are prepared efficiently and to high standards. Monitor kitchen operations to ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. Provide regular feedback and guidance to the partners to enhance their cooking skills. Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed. Maintain kitchen equipment and facilities in good working order. Support in collecting data from beneficiaries working in the kitchen. Coordinate closely with the project manager. Coordinates closely with the operation and logistical team. Provide weekly reports and photos of the kitchens operation.
