To Achieve Banyule City Council’S Net Zero Emission 2028 Target, All Gas Equipment Is Required To Be Electrified To Phase Out Greenhouse Gases Due To Gas Use. Watermarc And 1 Flintoff Collectively Corresponds To 74 Percent Of Total Gas (And Emissions From Gas) For Council Operated Buildings. This Project Is For The Design To Upgrade Watermarc And 1 Flintoff As A Combined Electrified Precinct.Banyule City Council Proposes To Shortlist Several Design Consultants To Tender For The Detailed Design Work. The Successful Consultant Will Be Appropriately Experienced And Resourced To Undertake The Design For The Electrification Of Watermarc & 1 Flintoff Offices Located At 1 Flintoff Street, Greensborough.Watermarc Greensborough Facility Was Constructed In 2012. The Facility Includes A Basement With Car Parking And Plantroom, A Ground Floor Aquatic Centre With Pools, Aquatic Play Area And Cafe, And A Level 1 Gymnasium And Fitness Centre. 1 Flintoff Street (Offices) Was Constructed In 2017 As A Three-Storey Office Building Above Watermarc. In Addition To Being Banyule City Council’S Administrative Headquarters, 1 Flintoff Provides Tenancy Accommodation To Victorian Department Of Education, Indie Education, Belgravia Leisure And Healthlink Café.
