The Board Of Regents Of The University System Of Georgia (¿Bor¿) As ¿Owner¿, On Behalf Of The University Of Georgia (¿Uga¿), ¿User¿ Is Soliciting Statements Of Qualifications From Firms Interested In Providing Construction Management At-Risk Services For The Construction Of A Project Known As Project No. Solicitation No. 197509516 Br-10-2504, Oua-25-037 Ramsey Student Center Strength And Conditioning Lll At The University Of Georgia, Athens, Georgia.A Project Description Is Provided Below:The Strength And Conditioning Iii Project Will Include The Conversion And Renovation Of Two Squash Courts And Six Racquetball Courts Into An Approximately 10,000 Square Foot Strength And Conditioning Facility.This New S&C Iii Area Is Anticipated To Provide Space For Approximately 122 Students, Including Infrastructure To Support Around 80 Cardio Machines, Weight Racks And Free Weight Equipment, And General-Purpose Mats For Stretching And Other Exercises.The Project Will Provide Ada Access To The Renovated Area And Will Replace The Air Handling Unit Which Currently Serves The Racquetball And Squash Courts And Other Adjacent Areas. The Air Handling Unit Is Original To The Building, Beyond Its Expected Life And Does Not Have Capacity To Serve The New S&C Iii. The New Unit Will Be Larger To Meet The Needs Of All Areas Served And Will Have The Added Benefit Of Addressing Deferred Capital Renewal Of This System.The University Of Georgia Will Select Several Qualified Firms From The Response Submittals,Conduct A Mandatory Pre-Proposal Site Visit With The Finalists, Conduct Interviews, Rank The Finalists, And Begin Contract Discussions With The Selected Firm.End Of Description
