Project Description The Royal Government Of Cambodia (Rgc) Has Taken Several Initial Steps To Advance The National Adaptation Plan (Nap) Supported By The Undp, Unep And Gesellschaft Für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (Giz) In 2013 To Identify Entry Points For The Government To Institutionalize CambodiaS National Adaptation Plan (Nap) Process. Nap Roadmap Subsequently Informed The Development Of Three Key Documents, Including The Cambodia National Adaptation Plan Process 2017, The Cambodia National Adaptation Plan Framework, Implementation Plan 2017, And The Cambodia National Adaptation Plan, Communication Strategy 2018. Cambodia Initiated The Nap Process In 2014, Establishing A Strong Foundation For The Nap Process With Its Financing Plan And Communications Strategy. Since 2014, The Country Has Utilized The Nap Process To Identify And Address Vulnerabilities In Key Sectors (Including Agriculture, Forestry, And Fisheries; Infrastructure; Health; Coastal Zones; Energy; And Tourism). The Nap Process Has Also Been Used To Identify Ways To Improve Adaptation Planning Itself At All Levels (National To Local). Cambodia Has Been Actively Engaged With The Green Climate Fund (Gcf) Through The General Directorate Of Policy And Strategy (Gdps) Of The Ministry Of Environment As A Part Of The Strategy To Respond To Climate Change.
