Tenders are invited for Supply, Training and Installation of Prepaid Meter System to Piped Water Schemes in Bugiri, Butaleja and Kaabong Districts. Minimum Mandatory Requirements of Specifications or Contract Performance. I. Certificate of Incorporation or Equivalent Document Evidencing Legal Registration. Ii. Valid Trading Licence or Equivalent. Iii. Tax Registration Certificate or an Equivalent Document Indicating the Types of Taxes Your Company is Registered for Iv. up to Date Tax Clearance Certificate or Equivalent Document Evidencing Compliance with Tax Obligations as Per the Governments Requirement. V. Minimum Warranty Period of One Year A. Curriculum vitae (CV of the proposed technical personnel detailing qualifications and experience i. Project Manager: A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from a recognised Institution of higher learning. Should have a minimum of three years of experience in managing construction, installation and maintenance of pre-paid meters, with Contract Management and leadership skills to manage a diverse team of technical staff. ii. Site Engineer: A minimum of a Diploma in Civil/Water Engineering with a minimum of three years of experience in site supervision of construction and installation of pre-paid meter structures, with knowledge in building, concrete & welding works. iii. Electromechanical Engineer: A minimum of a Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of two years of experience in installation and maintenance of Pre-paid meter technologies. iv. Plumber: A minimum of a craft I certificate in Plumbing from a recognised institution of learning with a minimum of two years of experience in pipe installation and other plumbing works (GI, Stainless steel, PVC/HDPE, etc. Pipes, very well conversant with the different pipe fittings and other pipe accessories) v. Mason: A minimum of a certificate in Brick laying and concrete practice from a recognised Institution of learning.
