Description: The Objective Of This Assignment Is To Provide Needed Support That Will Demonstrate The Practice Of The 3R Principles That Will Reduce Waste Entering Dumpsites/Landfills In The Beirut City Or Caza Of Matn. In Particular, This Assignment Aims To Establish And Operate 1 Recyclable Materials Drop-Off Center That Will Promote Sustainable Waste Management Practices Within The Community, In Line With Article 9 For The Establishment Of Drop Off Centers Of Decree No. 5605 Of 2019 Related To Sorting At Source For Integrated Solid Waste Management. The Center Will Serve As A Convenient And Accessible Location For Residents To Dispose Of Recyclable Materials Responsibly. Accordingly, The Consultant Is Asked To Initiate And Sustain The Operations Of A Drop Off Center With A Total Capacity Of 20 Tons/Month To Enhance Sustainable Waste Management Practices In The Selected Region. The Consultant Will Ensure The Initiation And Sustainable Operations Of The Center Within A 12-Months Timeframe.
