Construction Work For Water Projects – Construction Of Sewer Networks, Pump Stations And Forcemains For Awlad Azaz And El Minyawi Villages. Finances Are From The Kfw Development Bank As The Lead Financing Institution, With Agence Française De Développement (Afd), Swiss State Secretariat For Economic Affairs (Seco), European Commission (Ec), And European Investment Bank (Eib). Egyptian Bidders Must Be Registered With The Egyptian Federation For Construction And Building Contractors For The Construction And/Or Implementation Of Water And Wastewater Networks And Treatment Plants. They Shall Be Classified As Grade A. International Bidders With The Same Classification Mentioned Above Or The Equivalent From Their Own Country Shall Also Be Eligible To Bid. A Complete Set Of Bidding Documents Is Available For A Price Of Egp 25,000 (Twenty Five Thousand Egyptian Pounds). There Is No Time Limit For The Purchase Of Bidding Documents Up To The Bid Submission Date. All Bids Shall Be Accompanied By A Bid Security In The Amount Of 6,000,000 Egp (Six Million Egyptian Pounds). It Shall Be Valid For 162 Days (I.E. 120 + 42 Days). A Pre-Bid Meeting Will Be Held On 24Th February 2025 At 11:00Am Local Time. Value Added Tax (Vat) And Other Charges Customs Duties Imposed On The Project Shall Be Borne By The Government Of Egypt. In Accordance With The Umbrella Agreement Covering The Project, The Goods And Services Financed Under Iwsp 2 Are Exempted From All Taxes Including Sales Taxes (Note That Vat Has Since Replaced Sales Taxes), Custom Taxes, Duties And Other Public Charges Levied In The Employer’S Country. All Other Taxes, Fees, Levies And Charges Legally Due Shall Be Paid By The Contractor. Contractors (Including Subcontractors And Suppliers For The Execution Of The Contract) Are Eligible Regardless Of Their Country Of Origin, Except Where An International Embargo Or Sanction By The United Nations, The European Union Or The German Government Applies.
