Consultancy on Vegetable/Cash Crop Value Chain Study, Market Analysis and Provision of Value Chain Training for Smallholder Farmers in Lumphat and Koun Mom District of Ratnakiri province 4. Scope of Work The consultancy will cover the following key components: Value Chain Mapping and Stakeholder Analysis: o Mapping exercise for the entire cash-crop and vegetable-crop value chain from input supply (seeds, fertilizers, etc.) to production, processing, distribution, and consumption. o Identify major stakeholders in the value chain and their roles, including producers, cooperatives, unions, traders, processors, and retailers. Value Chain Analysis: o Analyze the flow of products and financial transactions through the value chain. o Assess challenges faced by stakeholders, including access to finance, post-harvest losses, pesticide and chemical use, technology, and market access. o Identify key constraints and opportunities for improvement at each stage of the chain. Timeline The consultant is expected to complete the assignment by no latter than 25 March 2025, subject to any necessary extensions. 8.
