Tenders are invited for Recruit a Life Skills Facilitator for Children and Caregivers for Alternatives to Combat Exploitive Child Labour through Empowerment and Sustainable Services Closing Date: Saturday, 25. Jan 2025 Intervention Sector(s): Children & Youth Remuneration range: < 1000 (USD) Duration of Contract: 13 months The René Moawad Foundation (RMF) is seeking to recruit a Life skills Facilitator for Children and Caregivers for Alternatives to Combat Exploitive Child Labour through Empowerment and Sustainable Services ACCESS-Lebanon Project supported by RDPP Lebanon in partnership with Plan International. Major Responsibilities: Facilitate life skills sessions with children and caregivers in one of the three areas; Akkar, Tripoli or Zahlé. Attend training and capacity building opportunities. Plan and prepare logistics for life skills activities. Coordinate with the project officer to ensure proper implementation of the project. Plan, organize and run activities with youth and women while facilitating and encouraging their participation. Ensure activities run in a timely manner to ensure the successful implementation of the project. Ensure that youth and women are all involved in the activity. Deal with difficult behaviors (conflict, aggressiveness, introversion) and understand the reason behind the behavior to positively communicate with the situation. Ensure that youth and women under her/his responsibility are not exposed to any form of Harm or stress during the activities. Collect data on the activities organized and ensure that all the relevant forms are duly filled. Identify key protection issues or threats affecting children and adolescents and raise them to the project officer. Ensure all project means of verifications (MOV) including attendance sheets, pre posttests, evaluation documents etc are in place. Fill and archive specific forms for referrals and weekly reporting, ensuring confidentiality, accuracy, and timeliness. Professional Standards All RMF staff and consultants are required to adhere to the RMF policies and practices with respect to child protection minimum standards, code of conduct, health and safety, equal opportunities and other relevant policies and procedures. Knowledge and abilities Candidates must have skills in working with youth and women. High integrity in social interactions. Previous experience in implementing life skills activities with special focus on positive leadership, employability skills and career guidance.
