Expression of Interest For Development Of Environmental And Social Management And Monitoring Plans (Esmmps) Lilongwe West Water Project

Expression of Interest are invited for Development of Environmental and Social Management and Monitoring Plans (ESMMPs) Lilongwe West Water Project. Expressions of interest must be delivered in a written form to the address below (in person, or by mail, or by e-mail) by 17th February, 2025 before 14.00 hours local time The key task of the consultant is to undertake ESMMP studies for the design, construction, operation, and decommissioning activities of the proposed project. For the ESMMP studies strong emphasis will be placed on developing a comprehensive environmental and social management plan where mitigation measures for the anticipated negative impacts will be proposed including enhancement measures for the identified positive impacts. In addition, an environmental and social monitoring plan will be prepared to track the implementation of the proposed management measures. The details of work for this assignment shall comprise, but not limited to, the following: a) Environmental and social scoping b) Detailed Environmental and Social Impact Assessment c) Review other previous studies related to the project that include: i) Feasibility Study Report for Lilongwe West Water Project, 2025; ii) Technical Designs for Lilongwe West Water Scheme, 2025 that is expected to be done by EPC/Turnkey Contractor for the project; Tender Link : https://www.ppda.mw/tenders
