Work Detail
Construction Work For Waterways – Geschiebezugabe 2025 - 2028, El-Km 120,913 Bis 259,600. On The Elbe, Bed Erosion Occurs In The Transition Area Between The Upper Reaches And The Middle Reaches From El-Km 120 To 290.7. The Bed Of The Elbe Deepens In The So-Called Erosion Zone To Varying Degrees, In Places Up To 2 Cm Per Year, Depending On The Existing Geomorphological Conditions. The Erosion Is A Result Of The Lack Of Natural Bedload From Upstream. The Body Of Water Transports More Debris Than Is Fed Into It, Using The Bed Of The Respective Section. Due To The Deepening Of The Bed, The Effectiveness Of The River Structures Is Changed: The Structures Are Located Too High In Some Areas, Restricting The Outflow Even Beyond The Regulation Water Level And Thus Increasing The Tendency To Deepen. The Subject Of This Tender Is The Addition Of A Sand-Gravel Mixture As A Bedload Replacement Material With The Aim Of Compensating For The Average Bedload Deficit Of 120,000 T To 175,000 T Per Year In The Section Under Consideration And Counteracting Erosion As Much As Possible. In Addition, Material Is Obtained Through Groyne Field Dredging And Added To The Stream. The Addition Of Bedload Is Carried Out In Addition Routes Determined By The Client (See Section 2.1.2) And According To Specified Addition Rules (See Section 4.6). The Grain Distribution Of The Bedload Replacement Material Must Follow The Clients Specifications, See Section 3.7. In Addition To The Self-Checks To Be Submitted By The Contractor, Samples Are Regularly Taken From The Built-In Device By The Client, Which Are Evaluated For Quality Assurance Or Success Control Of The Measure. The Elbe Is Divided Into Sections According To Various Aspects. For Shipping, The Fairway Depths In The Elbe Routes E2 (Dresden-Riesa), E3 (Riesa-Elster Estuary), And E4 (Elster Estuary-Saale Estuary) Are Shown In The Area Of Measures. From A Hydrological And Hydraulic Engineering Perspective, The Elbe Is Also Divided Into Stretches And Sections. The Addition Routes And Points Are Assigned To These And Are Important For Downstream Evaluations As Part Of Success Monitoring. The Additional Routes Are Roughly Divided Into The Following Sections Along The Elbe: . Route 1: El-Km 120,913 – 171,600 . Route 2A: El-Km 171,600 – 198,500. Route 2B: El-Km 198,500 – 230,000. Route 3: El-Km 230,000 – 259,600 The Following Quantities Of Bedload Replacement Material Should Be Added To The Respective Route Sections Annually: Annual Quantity Up To (T/A) = 175,000 T. Total Quantity = 350,000 T.
