Sunwater Is Seeking Submissions For The Bhwss Channel H10 - Supply And Construct Hdpe Channel Lining. Channel H10 Is An Earth Channel, Supplied From The Haughton Main Channel (Hmc) To The North Of The Haughton Balancing Storage (Hbs) And Is A Source Of Groundwater Inflow, That Requires Intervention. The Primary Purpose Of This Project Is To Successfully Construct A Hdpe-Lined Channel Section, Augmenting The Existing Channel Section Of Bay 4 (Approximate Length 2.6Km) Of Channel H10.The Project Works Include, But Are Not Limited To:•Earthworks To Re-Establish The Channel’S Design Profile, Supply And Installation Of Hdpe Lining Material, Fusion Welding Of Hdpe Components, Construction Of A New Silt-Trap, Minor Concrete Works, Connections To Existing Structures; And•Fabrication And Installation Of Metal Items Including Galvanised Steel Safety Screens, Stainless Steel Weed Screens And Aluminium Escape Ladders.The Hdpe Liner Shall Be Installed In The Bed Of The Existing Earth Channel After The Original Design Profiles Have Been Re-Established.
