Note to suppliers: This project is funded by US ASHA, which covers the cost of the items, including shipping to Beirut, but excludes local taxes and customs clearing charges. Therefore, prices should be quoted CIF Beirut Airport/Seaport. Customs clearance and delivery charges to AUB must be quoted separately for each item. The requested item(s) must be of U.S. origin and make, and shipped directly from the U.S.A. or a Trade-Free Zone in a non-U.S. country within the Free World. A certificate confirming this must be provided along with the bid documents. However, if the requested items are of non-U.S. make and origin, but are standard shelf items already in the suppliers stock and listed as standard items on the manufacturers product list, the following certifications must be provided: 1. A certificate from your company. 2. A certificate from the manufacturer. These certificates must confirm: The items are standard products, not exclusively made or imported for AUB. The country of origin of manufacturing is clearly specified. Additionally, the product(s) HS Code should be specified.
