The Purpose Of The Framework Agreement Is To Ensure That Throughout The Contract Period The Client Has Access To Assistance From Good Architects And Associated Consultancy Services With Relevant Expertise To Cover The Clients Ongoing Needs For Services Within Architectural Services And Associated Consultancy Services .The Framework Agreement Must Basically Be Used On All Types Of Projects That Are Relevant To The Service Areas Covered By The Framework Agreement. The Framework Agreement Must Cover Small, Medium-Sized And Larger Maintenance Projects In All Project Phases, And Can Also Be Used For Conversions And New Builds In All Project Phases. On Larger Projects, Especially Complex Projects, In Contracting Forms Where The Use Of The Framework Agreement Is Not Appropriate, Or Where Other Circumstances Mean That Project Owner Finds It Expedient, The Customer Can Contract Architects, Outside Of The Framework Agreement. Contracting Parties Must Be Able To Assist The Client In All Phases Of The Construction Project, From Start-Up To Completion And Warranty Follow-Up. The Assignment Can Be Investigations, The Basis For Turnkey Contracts (With And Without Interaction) Or Shared Contracts. The Clients Projects Vary In Nature, Size, Cost, Duration, Type Of Contract, Level Of Difficulty And Require Resources With Teams That Have Comprehensive Expertise. The Assignments Can Be Of Various Sizes, Ranging From Minor Adjustments To Existing Facilities To Larger Construction Projects That Span Several Years.
